The invention relates to plate heat exchangers and can be used in any technical field, where water flows through the device, which has an enhanced corrosive effect as a result of an increased concentration of predominantly chlorine ions, in particular, in ship heat exchangers, through which sea or brackish water flows.
For plate heat exchangers, corrosion-resistant stainless austenitic chromium nickel steels are commonly used to ensure a long service life. This gives good results when fresh water passes through the heat exchanger. However, when a sea or brackish water passes through the apparatus after short-term operation, corrosion damage due to pitting corrosion and, above all, crevice corrosion, is revealed, which significantly reduces the service life of the apparatus.
Attempts to increase the service life using copper alloys did not yield the expected result. The use of titanium for the manufacture of apparatuses considerably increased the cost of the instruction.
Known (for German application No. 27 13 977, cl. F 28 F 3/00, publ. 1978), a heat pool in which the destructive effect of sea or brackish water caused by its reduced flow rate due to ingress of foreign particles is reduced due to eliminating a decrease in the rate of flow of water.
However, gaps between the rubber seal and the metal are not excluded.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the service life of the apparatus, made of austenitic chromium-nickel steels, in conditions of operation on brackish or sea water.
The plate heat exchanger contains successively installed plates alternating with rubber seals forming the passageways. The plates are made of austenitic chromium-nickel steels and have a submerged non-precious metal coating (e.g., zinc or tin) with respect to chromium-nickel steel.
This coating provides protection against corrosion in the gaps in the area of rubber seals and plate supports even at a low speed of the medium, which increases the service life of plate heat exchangers.

TILING HEAT EXCHANGE DEVICE, containing sequentially installed plates alternating with rubber seals forming passage channels, characterized in that, in order to increase the service life of the apparatus made of austenitic chromium-nickel steels, under conditions of operation on brackish or sea water, the plates are coated with a negative 1 native metal or alloy applied by immersion.
